Reminders in WhatsApp, in your language

"I want to write a reminder in my own language, on WhatsApp, and have it come back at the right hour where I live. Daily ones too."

The short answer

Write it, or send a voice note, in your language.
Handled answers in the same language.
The reminder comes at the time you said, in your own time zone.
Daily and weekly reminders work the same way.

Which languages

  • Text. Write in the language you like. It answers in the same language, and switches if you switch.
  • Voice notes. English, Swedish, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Arabic, Hebrew and Russian.
  • Time. Say it the way you say it at home: "half past seven", "at six", "every Monday".

Good to know

  • A reminder arrives as a normal WhatsApp message from Handled. It does not ring or call.
  • Snooze by replying "later". Close it by replying "done". End a repeating one by replying "stop".
  • Every reminder is confirmed back with the exact time in your time zone. Travelling? Tell it once.
  • If your phone is off, the message waits and arrives when you are back.
