What kinds of paper work
- Utility bills. Electricity, water, internet, phone. Amount and due date.
- Invoices. From a supplier or a landlord. Amount, due date, reference number.
- School timetables. Weekly items go into the calendar as a series.
- Appointment letters. Doctor, dentist, embassy, car service. Date, time and place.
- Receipts. Total and date, and a sum across several photos if you send them together.
What it does not do
- It does not pay anything. The money stays in your hands.
- It does not log in to the utility, the bank or the school portal.
- It does not guess. If a number is unreadable it asks for a new photo.
- Your photos stay in your own space. Each person has an isolated environment.
Questions
Which photos can it read?
Utility bills, invoices, school timetables, appointment letters and receipts. A clear photo from your phone is enough. A PDF works too.
Does it pay the bill?
No. It reads the amount and the due date, sets the reminder and puts the date in your calendar. Paying stays with you, in your own bank or app.
Where does the date go?
Into your Google Calendar or Microsoft calendar, once you have connected one from the dashboard. Without a calendar the reminder still arrives in WhatsApp.
What if the photo is blurry?
It tells you what it could read and asks for a new photo of the part it could not. It does not guess an amount or a date.
